March 22nd, 2010 by Melissa Tam

Can a uni student beat Taylor Fry? Taylor Fry are delighted to invite you to enter our inaugural uni student tipping competition!

Taylor Fry has developed some simple footy tipping models and we challenge you to beat them. We’ll be entering 3 tipsters using only statistical models (one Treenet® model and two GLMs). You better hurry because there is $500 of cold hard cash to be won and it’s free to enter… Just put your tips in once a week and you could be on your way to glory.

To join in the fun:
1. sign up to www.footytips.com.au (the 3rd party free website that we use to run the competition)
2. then click on “join a comp”, comp name: “Taylor Fry AFL Student Tipping” and password: “Beat_the_Geek”
